I've been working on putting together a poetry competition for the month of April, so I wanted to share it with you all in hopes that you'll submit something yourself, or get someone you know to do so.
To celebrate April's National Poetry Month, I have approached Buzznet and BUST Magazine to create a poetry contest that would hopefully inspire and excite young folks to do more than tweet and blog. Not that there is anything wrong with the latter.
Submit your poems for the month of April and you could win an autographed copy of my book, BANG DITTO, a feature on the homepage of Buzznet and your poem will be published in the August/September issue of BUST Magazine. Contest info and rules are on the contest page.
