Workshops & Discussions

Holding Space in the Poetry Foundation Library

| 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Poetry Foundation, 61 West Superior Street, Chicago, IL 60654mapMarker

Spend time reading, writing, and connecting to and through poems in the Poetry Foundation Library. After an hour of browsing the collection, composing or revising poems independently, we will share, reflect, and discuss in community.

This monthly gathering is an opportunity to work on your projects and poems-in-process, draft a poem in collaboration with a generative prompt, discover new poems and poets, explore the current publishing landscape through our collection of literary magazines, and connect with other poets and poetry-lovers.

  • This program is for adult participants, aged 18 and older, of all backgrounds and experiences with reading and writing poetry.
