Join us for Poetry magazine's seasonal party! Celebrate the September, October, and November 2015 issues of Poetry with contributors, editors, and the poetry curious. Festivities include readings, performances, music, and libations. Subscription specials and individual issues available. 

John Beer is the author of The Waste Land and Other Poems (Canarium, 2010), which won the Norma Farber First Book Award. He teaches at Portland State University.

Ed Roberson is the author of ten books of poetry. To See the Earth Before the End of the World (Wesleyan University Press, 2010) was runner-up for the 2010 Los Angeles Times Poetry Prize.

Jamila Woods is a poet and vocalist, a member of the Dark Noise Collective, and a 2015 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship Winner. 

Examining race, gender, politics, and sexuality, multidisciplinary artist and poet avery r. young's first full-length album, booker t. soltreyne: a race rekkid, places language inside a landscape of Chicago-bred gospel, funk, soul, and blues.
