Dear Editor,

The March issue of Poetry has proved that the poetry scene in America, contrary to its doubters, is alive and well. John Ashbery’s poetry, fresh and vibrant as always, bristled with an energy that could put younger poets to shame. Mark Wunderlich, a poet whom I hadn’t read before, impressed me with his Frost-like concision, and his poems captured the wonder of a moment perfectly. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading many more excellent issues in the future.
