Mike Puican

Mike Puican is the author of the poetry collection Central Air (2020) and the chapbook 30 Seconds (2004). He earned an MFA from Warren Wilson College, and his poems have appeared in Poetry, Bloomsbury Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, and New England Review, among others. He was a member of the 1996 Chicago Slam Team and is board president of the Guild Literary Complex in Chicago, Illinois. Puican teaches poetry workshops at St. Leonard’s House for formerly incarcerated men and at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.
