Dawn Will Usher Me

bluish nets

to the edge of Ulysses

kneel kneel
i will kneel there i

will embrace glass shards
broken helms i will drift in tawny sails
of Van Gogh stars you

will notice me in my
meditations this is where we shall meet        down
down touching gold statues of unknown gods

there will be no rebirth

our continuity will mark

five million ocean-lives

our genesis in spiral
volcanic shafts & space particles

feverish quests
plankton rushing splintered light from another
world’s desires

we go down

half-buried deities

staring forever lacquer-brushed & scraped from
yesterday & yesterday within yesterday wounded

    or         is it timelessness

or is it simply your life

my life in ragged flow &
our race toward existence

it is nothing again within
nothing again it is
this vastness still a vastness this
multi-turquoise deep grasp
our will to become to
come into being are

we ready

did we find our way
through the jagged ascensions it was
always the song &

the singing the whirling

& the leaping
the gasping & the bursting

the fractal substances
of our birthing belly the infinite multiplications within
the infinite multiplication

this is our crimson oneness

the hidden duplications yes

the very last mirrors this Kali Yuga

bathing you
& me extracting the elixir &

the howl then you go

&

i bow
last reefs &
barnacled piers
bleeding galaxy & that is all there is

giving
