Abhijit Sarmah

Abhijit Sarmah (he/him) is a poet from northeastern India and a researcher of global Indigenous writing. He is a finalist for a 2023 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship. Sarmah earned a master of philosophy degree from Dibrugarh University, India, and is a PhD student at the University of Georgia. His work is published in Poetry magazine, The Margins, Lunch Ticket, Glassworks magazine, Porter House Review, The Lincoln Review, and others. He has been nominated for Best of the Net and for a Pushcart Prize.
