Amy Haddad (she/her) is a poet, nurse, and educator who taught at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for over 30 years. She is the author of the poetry collection An Otherwise Healthy Woman (Backwaters Press, 2022), winner in the creative works category of the 2022 American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Awards, and the chapbook The Geography of Kitchens (Finishing Line Press, 2021). Her poetry has been published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, Janus Head, Journal of Medical Humanities, Bellevue Literary Review, Aji, Oberon Poetry, Abandoned Mine, Rogue Agent, Rinky Dink Press, Intima, and several anthologies, including The Arduous Touch: Voices of Women in Health Care (Purdue University Press, 1999).
